November 16, 2019 Herring Run Park Tree Planting

Something wonderful happened on Saturday, November 16, 2019. More than 110 people from all over the Baltimore area, came out to plant trees in Herring Run Park. People of all ages got to work and dug in the tough soil, moved the heavy trees, pounded the stakes, and gave the young trees a good start in their new home. Flowering Tree Trails thanks the many organizations that brought groups to this planting–including Brownies, Cub Scouts, Belair Edison School (AFYA), Baltimore Chesapeake Rugby Football Club, Design Collective, Mission Media, and the students from Loyola University and Towson.

The energy and joy that comes when we all work together makes these events truly remarkable experiences.

Let’s do it again!
