Join Us at Herring Run Park

The Belair Edison-Parkside Herring Run Greening Project will bring weed-eating goats, Baltimore TreeKeepers and Weed Warriors, native trees, moon-viewing parties, tree walks, Arbor Day hand tree giveaways to residents in and around Herring Run Park in Northeast Baltimore City.

The project aims to increase tree canopy along the Herring Run Trail and take care of existing trees to improve wildlife habitat and park aesthetics.  Residents of the Belair-Edison and Parkside neighborhoods will be invited to participate in free classes and creative park programs to encourage park stewardship and enjoyment.

The Flowering Tree Trails is partnering with the Friends of Herring Run Parks, Belair-Edison Neighborhoods, Inc., Department of Recreation and Parks’ Forestry Division, TreeBaltimore, and the Baltimore-Kawasaki Sister City Committee to bring exciting improvements to Herring Run Park.
